“Calm down, Mom! Sis Wati will be fine. He can take care of himself.”

Useless a mother if not given endless patience. Imagine, they are sacrificing their time to look after their baby who is whining and disturbing their sleep.

Budi is right. As a parent, there are times when he must entrust the safety of his child to the Creator. Saleh closed his eyes. Signs he surrendered.

“As long as Wati isn’t here, don’t go away yet, OK, Budi!” he asked closing their conversation.

One day has passed since Wati left in order to reach her goals. That morning, the sun scorched Saleha’s face as she lifted the Jojorong cake from the pot.

The rice flour snack has been steamed perfectly. Budi really liked the cake. Therefore, he prepared it so that his son could enjoy it at the end of the afternoon.

Going into the kitchen, he found plates used for their breakfast. Still dirty. Saleh smiled. Boys are not as slick as girls. A little messy, not a problem for them. He grabbed the stack of dishes and washed them.
